Employee Engagement Practices

The maintenance of a position of "competitive advantage" is a critical factor in the sustainable success of any enterprise, whether it is a commercial business or a non-profit entity.  A key factor in establishing competitive advantage is the commitment of staff to the vision and goals of the institution.  This commitment is commonly referred to as "Employee Engagement", and is defined as "the simultaneous employment of a person's preferred self ( one's true identity, thoughts and feelings) physically, cognitively and emotionally in the tasks and behaviors that define the role as an employee." (W.A. Kahn; 1990)

Our work with clients is focused on helping them build and maintain philosophical, behavioral, and physical infrastructures that promote engagement.
